At Rhinebeck Chiropractic, patient education is at the forefront of care.  We strive to educate families that healing comes from within and that the human body has unlimited potential.  The Doctors at Rhinebeck Chiropractic help patients make adjustments to their life so they can see the best results in the shortest amount of time, costing the least amount of  money.  Our bi-weekly Wellness Workshops are complimentary to patients, their friends and family, and the public as well.  Call our office to reserve your seat at our next workshop.   If you are not sure if chiropractic is right for you, this can serve as a great opportunity to view our office, meet the doctors and even ask some questions with no risk to you.

Advanced Wellness Workshops

Drs. Burckhard continue to educate patients by offering these Advanced Wellness Workshops.  As a community outreach project, the Drs. Burckhard will come to your group or organization and give a workshop on any of the following topics:

 

Spinal Health Workshop: “A spine is a terrible thing to waste!”  With technological advancements in health care occurring everyday in joint replacement surgery, it is becoming increasingly obvious that the parts we were born with are the best parts known to man.  Hip and Knee replacement surgery is becoming ever more popular and with great results.  However, they have not figured out a way to replace the spine.  This is why it is crucial to keep your spine healthy.  This workshop will teach participants how to care for their spine so they can enjoy their spine for a lifetime.  In addition, participants can learn how the spine is intricately related to all of the other parts of the body.

Nutrition: “ Food for Thought.“  This workshop will dispel some common myths associated with nutrition.  In this workshop, Dr. Burckhard will help audience members understand why our society is becoming sicker and sicker and help distinguish what are beneficial food choices when it comes to our health.

Wellness:  “ Process or Event?” Often the word wellness is associated with fitness, though in fact that is only one component of wellness.  Learn the other components of wellness that are often overlooked.  This workshop is guaranteed to change the lives of all that attend.  We will examine what wellness is, and how to evaluate where you stand in reaching your wellness goals.

Exercise:   “Exercise harder or smarter?” This workshop was designed to take a close look at the many benefits of exercise.  It is no secret that exercise does more for us than make our clothes fit better!  This workshop will offer insight on how exercise makes us healthier, when done correctly, and the factors that make up a successful exercise program.   Learn how to reach your fitness goals most effectively with this workshop.  

Peak Performance: “Perform better than you D.R.E.A.M you could perform!” Learn what it means to D.R.E.A.M.; a simple acronym to keep you performing at the top of your game.  This workshop is sure to help attendees reach peak performance...then go beyond.

Stress: “React or Respond?” This workshop will focus on the effects of stress on our health and what can be done to reduce, eliminate and even recycle it.  Topics to be discussed include different forms of stress and their associated detriment on our health and well being.  This workshop will help you to learn the practical application of stress reducing techniques.  

Be Fit While You Sit:  “Your office chair will never be the same again!” This program was created to combat injuries related to a desk job.  It must be emphasized that it is not healthy to sit for 40 hours a week.  If quitting your desk job is not a viable option, this program will teach you what to do about improving your health and combating the detrimental effects of prolonged sitting.
